Sam and his usual foursome were playing golf one afternoon when they came upon a long par four that ran parallel to the main thorofare. As his partner, Joe, prepared to hit his tee shot, a funeral cortege approached them alongside the fairway. Joe stopped in mid-waggle; removed his hat and solemnly bowed his head. [more ]
