Mopinion launches new Conversion Insights Product

Online retailer solution provides greater insight and feedback on customer shopping cart abandonment to facilitate rapid action

London, 10th December 2014 – Management software specialist Mopinion, is proud to announce the launch of its new Conversion Insights (CI) product. The powerful new product is designed to alert online retailers when customers abandon the sales conversion funnels and gives insights into why this is the case, so action can be taken to preserve and increase sales traffic.

Reflecting on the launch of the new product, Udesh Jadnanansing, Founder and Managing Partner of Mopinion, commented, “Research shows that 67% (Baymard, 2013) of visitors to online stores leave at the purchasing funnel stage without buying the intended product or services. This is a significant loss of potential business and it’s vital to understand where your sales process is failing – be it on price, added value or problems with the transaction process itself.”

There are farther reaching consequences too, as Udesh added, “The ill effects don’t always stop there either. Further research shows that 64% of potential customers are unlikely to repurchase after a negative experience and only 38% (both Temkin, 2013) are prepared to give feedback after a negative experience. So a problematic sales process can also adversely affect future trade too – sometimes without the retailer being aware. This is where CI from Mopinion can really make a difference – giving you timely detailed insight into this customer behaviour and helping to formulate a resolution to save the customer relationship for the future

James Middleton’s edible photo brand Boomf partners with AdRoll to drive online sales

Marshmallow printing company rolls out advanced ad retargeting campaign

10th December 2014, London UK:  James Middleton’s marshmallow printing company Boomf has appointed AdRoll, the world’s most widely adopted retargeting platform, to drive sales and increase brand recognition across the web. AdRoll will be working with the food technology start-up to improve conversion rates by serving website visitors with retargeted ads after they have left the Boomf website.

The campaign is a cross-platform initiative and ads will initially be served on Facebook and across the web. AdRoll is also helping the company with loyalty campaigns, where past customers are re-engaged 60 days after they’ve purchased. This digital marketing push coincides with the brand’s substantial activity in the US market earlier this year and by implementing ad retargeting technology, Boomf hopes to increase brand awareness and international sales.

Retargeting works by re-engaging potential customers who have previously visited a website. AdRoll’s technology serves these visitors with ads elsewhere on the web, keeping a brand top of mind. The advertising content is based on their on-site user behaviour taking into account the pages and products they’ve previously viewed. AdRoll’s Facebook and web retargeting products are effective for developing brand awareness, driving web traffic, and increasing conversion rates.

Pamela Fell, Digital Media Manager and Growth Entrepreneur at Boomf, said: “Boomf has been growing at a tremendous rate and we have chosen AdRoll as our digital marketing partner to help us continue on this trajectory. In just a few months, we have already seen positive results and strong ROI.  AdRoll’s customer service is excellent - the team has consistently offered help and advice and provided top quality creative for all campaigns.”

Marius Smyth, EMEA MD of AdRoll, added: “With so many digital marketing solutions out there it’s important that brands like Boomf focus on the technologies that will really deliver on their business objectives. We’ve revolutionised the retargeting space by making our technology platform accessible and highly effective for any brand, regardless of size. We’re helping companies like Boomf to bring their brand into the mainstream and turn browsers into buyers.”
